Google has announced a new url shortener g.co for google websites.This will only link to official Google products and services.Google already owns goo.gl,a public URL shortener and it can be used for any link on the web.There is no change in goo.gl service.

Today google celebrates 450th anniversary of Saint Basil’s Cathedral with a new Google Doodle on it’s home page. Saint Basil’s is a Russian Orthodox church erected on the Red Square in Moscow in 1555–61. Built on the order of Ivan IV of Russia to commemorate the capture of Kazan and Astrakhan.

Google has launched a new service called Google Takeout. Google Takeout allows you to download a copy of your data stored within Google products.It is also included in google+.This service is brought to you by The Data Liberation Front. The Data Liberation Front is an engineering team at Google whose main goal is to make it easier for users to move their data in and out of Google products.

Google labs has launched a new service called Google swiffy. Google swiffy is web-based tool that allows developers to easily convert Adobe Flash animation SWF files into HTML5. This tool allowing you to reuse Flash content on devices without a Flash player. But now the output works only in all Webkit browsers such as Chrome and Mobile Safari.

Google has launched a new service called What Do You Love from google. It offers search results from 22 different Google services like Google Trends, YouTube,Translate,Books,Maps,image search and gmail.It looks like similar to Google’s homepage.

Starting today,google supports new five experimental alpha languages: Tamil ,Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada and Telugu.Current number of languages supported by Google Translate is 63. Google also enabled a transliterated input method for those of you without Indian language keyboards. For example, if you type in the word “nandri,” it will generate the Tamil word ?????.

Today google celebrates Total lunar eclipse 15 june 2011 with a new Google Doodle various stages of the eclipse on it’s home page. This was a relatively rare central lunar eclipse, in which the center point of Earth’s shadow passes across the Moon. The next central total lunar eclipse will be on July 27, 2018.
