Les Paul’s 96th birthday google doodle

Today google celebrates Les Paul’s 96th birthday with a new Google Doodle on it’s home page. Lester William Polsfuss (June 9, 1915 – August 12, 2009) was an American jazz and country guitarist, songwriter and inventor. He was a pioneer in the development of the solid-body electric guitar which made the sound of rock and roll possible.

76th birthday of Roger Hargreaves google doodle

Today google celebrates 76th birthday of Roger Hargreaves with (not less than) 16 new Google Doodle on it’s home page. Just reload the google Homepage to see all. Charles Roger Hargreaves (9 May 1935 – 11 September 1988) was an British author and illustrator of children’s books, notably the Mr. Men and Little Miss series, intended for very young readers. The books’ simple and silly stories, with bright-coloured, boldly drawn illustrations, have been part of popular culture for over 25 years.
