Tuxpuck 3D Air Hockey Pong Game

TuxPuck is a free and open source air hockey game that pays homage to the classic Amiga/Atari ST title, Shufflepuck Cafe. In this game, players skillfully maneuver a bat across the table, strategically aiming to outwit their opponent’s defenses and send the puck hurtling towards victory. The ultimate goal is to reach 15 points, signaling the end of an intense match. It combines the nostalgic charm with modern gaming excitement, delivering a thrilling showdown and strategy.

How to Install Tuxpuck Game on Ubuntu

Tuxpuck is available as a flatpak package file from the remote flathub. Open the terminal application (ctrl+alt+t) and run below Tuxpuck flatpak install command.

flatpak install flathub org.debian.TuxPuck

It will install the latest version of Tuxpuck on your system. After that run below command to run Tuxpuck game. You can also open it via the Show Apps menu from the Ubuntu dock.

flatpak run org.debian.TuxPuck

And get ready for a fast-paced journey through the virtual air hockey arena.

Note: If you don’t already have flatpak and flathub installed, please install them on your system using the commands provided below. After the installation, please restart your system.

sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

And uninstall it using below commands.

flatpak uninstall org.debian.TuxPuck

[OR]

sudo flatpak uninstall org.debian.TuxPuck
