Voxel Paint Pro is a free and open source 3D Painting application for Linux. You can paint in 3D using solid shaded voxels. You can use the arrow keys to move the view around and press the escape key to unlock the mouse. It comes with automatic saving, backup world.db.idle is updated every time , changing the mouse sensitivity and more.
How to Install Voxel Paint Pro on Ubuntu
Voxel Paint Pro is available as a flatpak package file from the flathub. First you need to install flatpak and flathub on your system using below commands and restart it after the installation.
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
After that open the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and un below Voxel Paint Pro flatpak install command. It will install the latest version.
flatpak install flathub com.voxdsp.VoxelPaintPro
You can open it using below command.
flatpak run com.voxdsp.VoxelPaintPro
And uninstall it using below commands.
flatpak uninstall com.voxdsp.VoxelPaintPro
sudo flatpak uninstall com.voxdsp.VoxelPaintPro
Install Voxel Paint Pro via Snap:
You can also install Voxel Paint Pro via snap store. Open the terminal and run below snap install command.
sudo snap install voxelpaintpro
And you can uninstall it via below command.
sudo snap remove voxelpaintpro
