How to install Dust Racing 2D game on Ubuntu
Dust Racing 2D is a free open source car racing game for Linux and Windows.This game is built on Qt framework and it uses OpenGL for graphics. This is tile-based 2D top-down car racing game. It comes with easy to use level editor. It is licensed under GNU GPLv3 license.
Install Dust Racing 2D game on Ubuntu
To install the latest version of the Dust Racing 2D game on Ubuntu, just go to the Dust Racing 2D download page and download the latest version in .deb file format. And double click that file and install via any software installer.
You can also install this game via its PPA. You need to add its official PPA on your Ubuntu system to install this game. Open your terminal app in your Ubuntu system, and run the below command to the PPA.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jussi-lind/dustrac
Type your ubuntu password and press the enter. Then again press the enter key to confirm the PPA addition. then run the below command in terminal and hit the enter.
sudo apt-get update
Then run the below command to install Dust Racing 2D game on Ubuntu.
sudo apt-get install dustrac
After the installation of Dust Racing 2D, click the show applications in the Ubuntu Gnome dock and type Dust Racing 2D the search box and click Dust Racing 2D to open it. For Unity you can search Dust Racing 2D from ubuntu dash.
The default controls for player one is UP keyfor Accelerate, down key for Brake, left arrow key for Turn left and right key for Turn right. Game rule is simple, just come to top 6 in the race and unlock a new track level.
