XnView MP is a free photo viewer, image management, image resizer application for Linux, MacOS and Windows. You can use this application as freeware for private, educational and non-profit use but you need to buy a license for commercial use. Install XnView MP on Ubuntu
XnView MP is available as a portable AppImage and native .deb package file.
Install XnView MP via AppImage:
Download XnView MP in .AppImage file format from above link and save it on your Downloads folder. Open the terminal software (ctrl+alt+t) and run below commands. Replace “XnView_MP.glibc2.17-x86_64.AppImage” with your downloaded file name.
sudo chmod +x ~ XnView_MP.glibc2.17-x86_64.AppImage
Install XnView MP via DEB:
Download XnView MP linux .deb file from the above link and save it on your Downloads directory and run below commands. replace “XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb” with your file name.
sudo dpkg -i XnViewMP-linux-x64.deb
sudo apt install -f
