X File Explorer or XFE is a free and open source file manager for Linux. It is lightweight and easy to use linux file manager based on old X Win Commander. It is released under open source GNU General Public License. The only requirement for XFE is FOX library. It also comes with command-line support. It comes with integrated RPM/DEB package installer, uninstaller, test editor, image viewer and with four file manager modes.

Nemo is a free and open source file manager for Linux system. It is the default file manager for Cinnamon desktop environment and specially designed for the Cinnamon desktop.
