Caja File Manager Application

Caja is a free and open source file manager application for Linux. It is the official file manager for the MATE desktop environment. But you can install on any other Linux desktop environment It is a fork of popular Nautilus file manager. It comes with directory browsing, file previewing, file launching applications, local and remote filesystems support and many more.

How to Install Caja File Manager on Ubuntu

To install the latest version of Caja file manager, run below command in the terminal (ctrl+alt+t) application.

sudo apt install caja

After the successful installation of Caja File Manager, run below command in terminal. It will open Caja File Manager.
