Save your Personal Data with Pika Backup

Pika Backup is a free and open source modern backup application for Linux. Using this app you can easily backup your data in your local disk, USB drive or remote server. It is based on Borg Backup application. It does not copy known data again to save your time and space. It comes with Encrypted backups and lists created archives. You can also recover files or folders via your file browser easily.

Install Pika Backup on Ubuntu Linux

Pika Backup is available as flatpak package file from remote flathub. So you need to install flatpak and flathub on your system first. And restart after the installation . Now open terminal command-line application using ctrl+alt+t keys and run below Pika Backup flatpak installation command.

flatpak install flathub org.gnome.World.PikaBackup

After the installation open Pika Backup using below command or via applications menu.

flatpak run org.gnome.World.PikaBackup

And you can also uninstall it via

sudo flatpak uninstall org.gnome.World.PikaBackup
