It comes with file transfer, SSL server support, bookmarking, multiple identities, per channel encoding, notifications and theme support, multiple servers and channels support and more. It is a kde project and released under GPL-2.0+
How to Install Konversation on Ubuntu Linux
Konversation is available as a snap, flatpak and deb package files. In the terminal application run below Konversation snap install command. It will install the latest version of Konversation on your system.
sudo snap install konversation
After the installation open it using below command or you can also open it from the application menu.
And uninstall Konversation
sudo snap remove konversation
Install Konversation via Flatpak:
First you need to install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation . Now open the terminal app and run below Konversation flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub org.kde.konversation
Start Konversation flatpak app using below command.
flatpak run org.kde.konversation
And uninstall Konversation app using
sudo flatpak uninstall org.kde.konversation
Install Konversation via APT:
You can also install Konversation using below apt command.
sudo apt install konversation
sudo apt remove konversation
