Install Pragha Music Player on Ubuntu Linux

Pragha is a free and open source music player for Linux. It is written in C and released under GPL3 licence. It comes with playlist management, Two panel design, multiple views library, tags, search, filter,queue songs, play audio CD, desktop notification, Exporting M3U and read M3U, PLS, XSPF and WAX. You can play and edit tag of mp3, m4a, ogg, flac, asf, wma, and ape files.

How to Install Pragha on Ubuntu

Pragha Music Player is available as a flatpak package from the remote flathub store. First install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation.

Install flatpak and flathub

After that open the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and run below Pragha flatpak install command.

flatpak install flathub io.github.pragha_music_player.pragha

It will install the latest version of Pragha on your system. You can open it sing below command.

flatpak run io.github.pragha_music_player.pragha

And you can also uninstall it using below commands.

flatpak uninstall io.github.pragha_music_player.pragha

sudo flatpak uninstall io.github.pragha_music_player.pragha
