How to Install Ghostery Private Browser on Ubuntu
Download Ghostery Private Browser for Linux and save it on your Downloads folder. Right click on the Downloaded Ghostery .tar.gz file and select Extract. Now open the extracted folder and inside Ghostery folder you will get Ghostery Program file. Right click on it and select Run.
It will open the Ghostery Private Browser on your Ubuntu Linux system.
Install Ghostery Private Browser via Flatpak:
You can also install Ghostery Browser via flatpak from the remote flathub. If you don’t have then install flatpak and flathub on your system first using the below two commands and restart it after the installation.
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
After that in the terminal app run below Ghostery Private Browser flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub com.ghostery.browser
It will install the latest Ghostery on your system. And you can open it using below command.
flatpak run com.ghostery.browser
Also uninstall it using below commands.
flatpak uninstall com.ghostery.browser
sudo flatpak uninstall com.ghostery.browser
