How to install GabTag Audio Tagging Tool on Ubuntu

GabTag is a free and open source audio tagging application for Linux. It is released under GNU General Public License v3.0 and written in GTK 3. Using this audio tagging application, you can add, modify or delete audio tags like title, album, artist, cover tag, labels and genre. You can also find the tags and lyrics automatically by using MusicBrainz and lyrics wikia. It is simple and easy to use tool. It also supports multiple modification of audio files at the same time.

Install GabTag on Ubuntu

GabTag is available as a Flatpak package from flathub. You can install it from using the below method. You need to install flatpak and flathub on your system to install GabTag. Follow this below tutorial for this.

How to install flatpak on ubuntu

After the installation and setup of flatpak and flathub restart your system. And open your terminal console app (ctrl+alt+t) and run this GabTag Audio Tagging Tool flatpak installation command.

flatpak install flathub com.github.lachhebo.Gabtag

You can start GabTag on your system by running this command.

flatpak run com.github.lachhebo.Gabtag
