Veloren is a free and open source open world multiplayer voxel RPG Game for Linux, Windows and MacOS. This game is heavily inspired and combination of Minecraft, Cube World, Dwarf Fortress and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This game is still in alpha stage but payable. It is released under the GNU GPL 3.0 license and written in Rust.
Veloren Minimum System Requirements:
You need 2GB of free disk space, 4GB of RAM, multi-core CPU and GPU with OpenGL >= 3.2 support.
Install Veloren on Ubuntu
Veloren multiplayer voxel RPG Game is available via snap and flatpak packages. Please check your system for the minimum system requirements and start installation via below methods.
Install Veloren via snap:
Open your terminal app in Ubuntu. You can open it by pressing ctrl+alt+t keys together. Then run this Veloren snap installation command.
sudo snap install veloren --edge
It will install latest verion of Veloren game on your Ubuntu system. You can play it by running this command.
veloren
You can also start it from Ubuntu application list.
Install Veloren via Flatpak:
Install flatpak and flathub using below method in your Ubuntu system.
Then run this Veloren Flatpak command to install it.
flatpak install flathub net.veloren.veloren
You can run Veloren game via this command.
flatpak run net.veloren.veloren
