Faenza gnome icon theme

Faenza provides monochromatic icons for panels, toolbars and buttons and colourful squared icons for  devices, applications, folder, files and Gnome menu items.

To install Faenza gnome icon theme on ubuntu 11.10

1.Open the terminal and type

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox

hit enter and type ubuntu password. Then press enter to continue or ctrl-c to cancel adding the ppa.

2.Then type below command and hit enter

sudo apt-get update

3.Type below command and hit enter

sudo apt-get install faenza-icon-theme

To activate this theme in ubuntu 11.10 install GNOME Tweak Tool.

Install GNOME Tweak Tool via ubuntu software center. After the successful installation open and go to  Themes section.choose either ‘Faenza-Ambaince’ or ‘Faenza-Radiance’ next to the Icon Theme label.
