DisplayCAL is a free and open source display calibration application for Linux, Windows and MacOS. Using this app you can calibrate and characterize your display devices. It comes with multi-display setups support, CIECAM02 gamut mapping, evaluate ICC profiles and display devices, creating video 3D LUTs, Test chart editor:, verification and reporting. It is based on ArgyllCMS color management system.
Install DisplayCAL on Ubuntu Linux
You can install DisplayCAL from the remote flathub as a flatpak package. Follow below flatpak and flathub installation instructions and restart your system after the installation.
After that open your terminal software using ctrl+alt+t keys and run below DisplayCAL flatpak installation command.
flatpak install flathub net.displaycal.DisplayCAL
It will install the latest version of DisplayCAL on your system. You can open DisplayCAL using this command.
flatpak run net.displaycal.DisplayCAL
If you don’t like then uninstall it using this command.
sudo flatpak uninstall net.displaycal.DisplayCAL
That’s it.
