KWalletManager – System Password Manager Application

KWalletManager is a free and open source password manager application for Linux. using this application you can manage the passwords on your system. It comes with GPG encryption and classic blowfish encryption options. It is based on Frameworks wallet subsystem and allows you to access and manage the passwords of every application that integrates with the wallet. It is released under GNU General Public License v2.0 or later

How to Install KWalletManager on Ubuntu Linux

KWalletManager is available as a flatpak package file from remote flathub repository. If you don’t have then first install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart your system after the installation.

Now open the terminal software and run below KWalletManager flatpak command. You can open terminal using the ctrl+alt+t keys or from show application menu.

flatpak install flathub org.kde.kwalletmanager5

It will install the latest version of KWalletManager on your system. After that open it using below command.

flatpak run org.kde.kwalletmanager5

You can also uninstall KWalletManager using this command.

sudo flatpak uninstall org.kde.kwalletmanager5
