Artikulate is a free and open source foreign language pronunciation trainer software for Linux. Using this application you can improve your learner’s pronunciation skills for a foreign language. It provides courses with native speaker recordings for several training languages. You can downloads these courses from the app and choose a category of phrases to train. You can listen the native speaker’s voice and record your own voice to compare the pronunciation. Try these steps repeatedly to improve the foreign language pronunciation skill. It is a kde project and released under GPL-2.0+ License.
How to install Artikulate on Ubuntu Linux
Artikulate pronunciation application is available via flatpak from flathub. Install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it. After the installation in terminal run below Artikulate flatpak installation command. It will install the latest version of Artikulate on your Ubuntu Linux system.
flatpak install flathub org.kde.artikulate
You can run Artikulate via below command.
flatpak run org.kde.artikulate
Download and install the required courses and start learning.
You can also uninstall it by below command.
sudo flatpak uninstall org.kde.artikulate
