Hardinfo is a free and open source system information and benchmark tool for Linux. It comes with good graphical user interface. Using this you can get hardware and some software information about your system. It is a clean and neat graphical UI application in this category.You can generate all your system report in HTML or in plain text. Some other important features are benchmark result synchronization and get information on remote computers. It is released under GNU General Public License.
Install Hardinfo on Ubuntu
Hardinfo is available via Ubuntu universe repository. You can install it via terminal. Open the terminal (ctrl+alt+t) and run below commands.
sudo apt update
sudo apt install hardinfo
If you want to enable Ubuntu universe repository then run below command first and then try above.
sudo add-apt-repository universe
You can also install it via the Ubuntu software center. Just search hardinfo and you will get hardinfo as System Profiler and Benchmark name.
Get hardware information on Ubuntu
In terminal run this command to start Hardinfo
hardinfo
