Qwertone is a free and open source musical application for Linux. You can use this Qwertone application as piano application and play music using your keyboard. It is music synthesizer application with QWERTY keyboard for input support. It is released under The GNU General Public License v3.0. It is a simple and easy to use music synthesizer software. Currently it is available as a flatpak package. Using this you can install it on all Linux distros.
Install Qwertone on Ubuntu Linux
you can download and install Qwertone via flathub as a flatpak package. Install flatpak and flathub on your system and to take effect restart the system after the installation. Now open the command-line terminal application using the applications menu or via ctrl+alt+t keys and run below Qwertone installation command.
flatpak install flathub com.gitlab.azymohliad.Qwertone
After the installation use below command to open it. You can also open it via show applications menu.
flatpak run com.gitlab.azymohliad.Qwertone
You can also uninstall the app using this command.
sudo flatpak uninstall com.gitlab.azymohliad.Qwertone
