Browse And Install GNOME Shell Extensions Using Extension Manager

Extension Manager is a free and open source GNOME Shell Extension manager application for Linux. Using Extension Manager you can browse and search available GNOME Shell Extensions from GNOME website.  . You can enable and disable extensions, configure all extension settings and also uninstall extensions. It is a simple and easy to use must have application for your GNOME desktop. It is released under GNU General Public License v3.0.

Install Extension Manager on Ubuntu Linux

 

Extension Manager is available via flatpak package from flathub. First if you don’t have flatpak and flatpak on your system , then install it and restart your system. Now open the terminal application using ctrl+alt+t keys and run below Extension Manager flatpak installation command.

Install flatpak and flahub

flatpak install flathub com.mattjakeman.ExtensionManager

It will install the latest version of Extension Manager on your system. After the installation you can open it via

flatpak run com.mattjakeman.ExtensionManager

You can also uninstall it via

sudo flatpak uninstall com.mattjakeman.ExtensionManager
