Veloren is a free and open source open world multiplayer voxel RPG Game for Linux, Windows and MacOS. This game is heavily inspired and combination of Minecraft, Cube World, Dwarf Fortress and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This game is still in alpha stage but payable. It is released under the GNU GPL 3.0 license and written in Rust.
Veloren Minimum System Requirements:
You need 2GB of free disk space, 4GB of RAM, multi-core CPU and GPU with OpenGL >= 3.2 support.
Install Veloren on Ubuntu
Veloren multiplayer voxel RPG Game is available via flatpak packages. Please check your system for the minimum system requirements and start installation via below methods.
Install Veloren via Flatpak:
Install flatpak and flathub using below method in your Ubuntu system.
Then run this Veloren Flatpak command to install it.
flatpak install flathub net.veloren.veloren
You can run Veloren game via this command.
flatpak run net.veloren.veloren
Install Veloren official launcher Airshipper
You can also install the Veloren official launcher airshipper to easily install, update and manage your game using below command.
flatpak install flathub net.veloren.airshipper
Open Veloren launcher airshipper using below command.
flatpak run net.veloren.airshipper
