Psensor is a free and open source system temperature monitor application for Linux. Using Psensor you can monitor motherboard, CPU, NVidia and ATI/AMD GPU and Hard Disk Drives temperatures, fan speed and CPU usage details. It is a simple and easy to use tool. You can open it in anew windows or view all details from system topbar try app indicator. It is based on Psensor lm-sensors, XNVCtrl, ATI ADL SDK, hddtemp, libatasmart and udisks2.

Hide Mounted Disk Partitions & USB from Desktop & Dock in Ubuntu

In Ubuntu the Disk Partition, other system volume and removable USB device icons will appear on the Ubuntu left dock and the desktop. If you don’t like this feature you can easily hide the icons of mounted disk partition, system volume and removable devices from Ubuntu Dock and Desktop in Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS Second Point Release

Canonical has released Ubuntu 20.04.2 long-term support and now it is available to download. Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS is the second point release in the Ubuntu 20.04 LTS series. And the third point release Ubuntu 20.04.3 will roll out in the summer after Ubuntu 21.04 release. LTS will provide five years free security and maintenance updates until April 2025.

Obsidian is a free Markdown editor for Linux, MacOS and Windows. You can use Obsidian as note taking and Knowledge Base application. It is free for personal use and no signup required. All data are stored in your local system in plain text Markdown files. But you can sync that files with Dropbox. You can extend its feature with plugins. It supports Git versioning, Internal link, Graph view, Audio recorder, LaTeX math, Slides, Backlinks and word counts. It is still in beta stage and active development.
