How to add Parental Controls features in Windows 7 to protect your child

Microsoft Windows 7 OS comes with a useful build-in Parental Controls feature. Using this feature you can limit the time spend on computer and the program usage. Now we will see how to setup the Parental Controls in windows 7. In windows 7, click the start button and enter “Parental Controls” in the search programs and fields box. then select Parental Controls. You can also go to Parental Controls by Control panel->User Accounts and Family Safety->Parental Controls.

Setup FamilyShield Parental Controls on Windows 10 and Windows 7

How to edit the hosts file on Ubuntu and block a website

The hosts file is an OS based plain text file that maps hostnames to IP addresses.It contains lines of IP address in the first field and host names in the second field. Each field is separated by tab space. you can also add a comment line by adding a hash (#) in the front.

Edit the hosts file on Ubuntu:

Open your Terminal app searching “terminal” in the unity dash or by press Ctrl+Alt+T key combination. If you want to take a backup of your hosts file , typing the following command in your terminal app.
