Pale Moon is a free and open source browser for Windows and Linux. It is a fork of popular browser Firefox. Currently Pale Moon using open source goanna browser engine that is also a fork of Mozilla’s Gecko browser engine. It supports legacy firefox XUL, XPCOM, and NPAPI extensions and also comes with Pale Moon exclusive extensions. It also provides support for full themes and light skin and comes with fully customizable user interface. It run in single-process mode whereas Firefox became a multi-process program.

Microsoft Edge’s Surf Game

Microsoft introduced a new small fun browser surf game in its Edge browser. This game was launched initially before Ignite 2019 and available for Insiders since February. Now you can play this game in your stable version of Microsoft Edge browser. It is similar to Google Chrome’s hidden dinosaur Easter egg game. You can also play this surf game when you are offline. This means Microsoft Edge will show the game link when you are not connected to internet. Now this surf game is a permanent “offline game” for Microsoft Edge.

Yes its true, now you can easily install NCSA Mosaic on Ubuntu via snap. For those who dont know about Mosaic, NCS Mosaic (1993-1997) is one of the first graphical web browser to display images inline with text and developed by National Center for Supercomputing Applications. It supports Archie, FTP, gopher, HTTP, NNTP, telnet and WAIS internet protocols. Some interesting facts are Microsoft licensed Mosaic from Spyglass to create the first Internet Explorer in 1995 and Netscape Navigator was inspired by Mosaic web browser and developed by original Mosaic authors.
