Reckoner is a free and open source secure private personal finance tracker application for Linux and Android. All your data is encrypted (AES 256) and stored locally on your device only. Filter and sort transactions via categories and tags. It comes with custom report views, multi-paradigm tracking, multi-currency support and many more.
How to Install Reckoner on Ubuntu
Reckoner is available as a flatpak and snap package files. In the terminal application (ctrl+alt+t) run below Reckoner snap install command. It will install the latest Reckoner on your system
sudo snap install reckoner
You can open Reckoner using below command or via Show Apps application menu.
reckoner
And also uninstall it using below command.
sudo snap remove reckoner
Install Reckoner via Flatpak:
You can also install Reckoner via below flatpak command.
flatpak install flathub finance.reckoner.Reckoner
After that open it using below command.
flatpak run finance.reckoner.Reckoner
And uninstall it using below commands.
flatpak uninstall finance.reckoner.Reckoner

sudo flatpak uninstall finance.reckoner.Reckoner
If you don’t already have flatpak and flathub installed,then install them on your system first. After the installation, restart your system.
