Ubuntu 17.10 Codename and Release Schedule

The next version of Ubuntu, Ubuntu 17.10 gets a codename Artful Aardvark. According to wikipedia an aardvark is a medium-sized, burrowing, nocturnal mammal native to Africa and artful is an adjective which means skillful, clever, adept, adroit, skilled, expert. Ubuntu 17.10 Artful Aardvark final stable is scheduled for release on October 19, 2017.

How to install and run Etcher image burner on Linux Mint

Etcher is a free image burner with good User interface for Linux. It is also available for windows and Mac OS. It is build using JS, HTML, node.js and Electron. It allows you to burn image files to SD cards & USB drives and create a bootable USB using it. Some additional functions are image validation and finding the corrupted SD cards and usb drives.
