Install KeePass password manager on Ubuntu
To install the latest KeePass on ubuntu, you need to add the keepass PPA. Open the terminal app by searching terminal in ubuntu dash and run the below command in the terminal.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jtaylor/keepass
Then type your ubuntu password when asked and press the enter key confirm the PPA installation.Then type the below command in terminal and press the enter key.
sudo apt-get update
Then run the below command in terminal to install the latest version of KeePass password manager on Ubuntu.
sudo apt-get install keepass2
Type Y and press the enter key to confirm the installation.After the successful installation of KeePass password manager restart your ubuntu. Click the Dash home from unity launcher. And type keepass2 in the search field. Then click KeePass2 to open it.
