How to install Parole media Player on Ubuntu

Parole media Player is a free and open source media player for Linux. Parole media player is a default media player for Xfce desktop system. It is simple and easy to use GStreamer based media player. Using this you can play your local system media audio and video files, CDs, DVDs and live streams. It supports video subtitles, playlists and you can also extent it’s feature via plugins.

Install Parole media Player on Ubuntu:

You can install Parole media Player from Ubuntu software source repository. Open your terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and type the below command and press the Enter key.

sudo apt-get update

If needed type your password and press the enter key. Then run below command on your terminal. It will install the latest version of Parole media Player on Ubuntu.

sudo apt-get install parole

During the installation it will ask to confirm the installation just type y and press the enter key. After the successful installation of Parole media Player, Click the show applications in the Ubuntu Gnome dock and type Parole in the search box and click Parole to open it. You can also open it via running the below command in terminal.
