Using Font Downloader you can search, preview, download and install all google fonts on your system directly from the application. Now you don’t need to manually install fonts each time. This application do all for you. It comes with dark mode and emoji support and option to select font type and language.

How to Install Font Downloader on Ubuntu Linux

You can install Font Downloader from flathub as a flatpak package file. If you don’t have the then fist Install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart your system after the installation. Follow below link for the installation instructions.

How to install flatpak and flathub

Open your terminal software using the application menu or via the ctrl+alt+t keys and run below Linux Google Font Downloader application flatpak installation command.

flatpak install flathub org.gustavoperedo.FontDownloader

After the successful installation of Font Downloader run below command to start it. You can also run from show application menu.

flatpak run org.gustavoperedo.FontDownloader

And uninstall Font Downloader using this command,

sudo flatpak uninstall org.gustavoperedo.FontDownloader
