Create Pixel Art & Graphics with GrafX2 Bitmap Paint Program

GrafX2 is a free and open source bitmap paint program for Linux and Windows. Using this you can create pixel art, game graphics and any other painting graphics with mouse. This application specialized for 256-color drawing. It is released under GPL-2.0 and CECILL-2.0. This paint program is inspired by the old popular Amiga programs ?Deluxe Paint and Brilliance. It comes with basic paint features, layers support, drawing mode, brush effects and more.

Install GrafX2 on Ubuntu

GrafX2 Bitmap Paint Program is available as a flatpak package for Linux. You can install it from your terminal app. But you need flatpak and flathub first. Follow below link for that.

Install flatpak and flathub on Ubuntu

Restart your computer after the flatpak installation. After that open the terminal software and run below GrafX2 flatpak installation command.

flatpak install flathub com.chez.GrafX2

Then you can run GrafX2 via the below flatpak command.

flatpak run com.chez.GrafX2
