Midnight Commander is a free and open source command line based file manager with a text user interface for Linux, MacOS and Windows. It is released under GNU General Public License v3. Using this your can manage your files in your terminal. You can do delete, copy, move your files and directory. Some other features are search files and run commands in subshell. You can view the file and edit that file with the build in midnight commander editor mcedit. you can also change to your favorite editor to edit the file. Other features are view the directory size, compare files and directories, unicode support and lot more. Using midnight commander you can recover deleted files from an ext2 or ext3 partitions.

cmus is a free and open source command-line music player for Linux and MacOS. cmus (C* Music Player) is a light weight but powerful command line music player.It supports MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, Opus, Musepack, MP4, WavPack, WAV, AAC, audio CD and more file formats. It also uses ffmpeg, libmodplug and BASS for input file support.
