PoryDrive is a free and open source Car Physics Simulation Game for Linux. In this game you need to drive your car and collect Porygon. After each Porygon collection a new one will randomly spawn somewhere on the map. Note that Porygon colliding with a purple cube will cause it to light up blue, this can help find them. You can use right mouse click to switch between Ariel and Close views.
How to Install PoryDrive game on Ubuntu
To install PoryDrive car game, open the terminal application (ctrl+alt+t) and run below PoryDrive flatpak install command. It will install the latest version of PoryDrive on your system.
flatpak install flathub com.voxdsp.PoryDrive
After that you can start the PoryDrive game via the Show Apps Ubuntu dok menu or using below command in the terminal.
flatpak run com.voxdsp.PoryDrive
Note: If you don’t have then install flatpak and flathub on your system, using below commands and restart it after the installation.
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
PoryDrive Game Keyboard Controls:
ESCAPE = Unlock Mouse
N = New Game and Car Color
W,A,S,D = Drive Car
Space = Brake
L-Shift = Boost
RIGHT CLICK/MOUSE4 = Zoom Snap Close/Ariel
Mouse Scroll = Zoom in/out
C = Random Car Colors
R = Accelerate/step DNA color peel
F = FPS to console
P = Player stats to console
O = Toggle auto drive
You can also uninstall it using below command.
flatpak uninstall com.voxdsp.PoryDrive
