Blackbody is a free and open source thermogram viewer software for Linux and Windows. Using Blackbody, you can render FLIR thermograms to RGB images. It supports various palettes, zoom levels and temperatures thresholds and dynamic minimum and maximum values. It is a Rust app.
How to Install Blackbody on Ubuntu
To install Blackbody, you need flatpak and flathub on your system. If you don’t have then install them using below commands and restart it after the installation.
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
After that open the terminal application and run below Blackbody flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub eu.nimmerfort.blackbody
It will install the latest version of Blackbody on your system. You can open it using below command.
flatpak run eu.nimmerfort.blackbody
And uninstall it using below commands.
flatpak run eu.nimmerfort.blackbody
