NTag is a free and open source audio file tag editor for Linux and Windows. Using NTag you can view and edit tags in any audio files. It supports MP3, MP4,M4A, M4B, FLAC, OGG and WMA audio file formats. You can use ID3v1.1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, MP4, ASF and Vorbis Comment tag formats to edit. Some other important features are batch editing, rename files based on the tag and Filter files by missing data.
You can edit title, artist, album, track, disc, year, date, comment, composer, album artist, language, lyrics, genre, compilation and more. It supports JPG and PNG cover artworks. It is released under GNU General Public License.
Install NTag Tag Editor on Ubuntu
NTag Tag Editor is available via the flatpak package. You need to install flatpak and flathub on your Ubuntu system first. If you don’t have flatpak and flathub on your system , then follow below article to install it or skip it if you already installed.
Restart your system after flatpak and flathub installation. Open you terminal application. You can open it via ctrl+alt+t and run below NTag Tag Editor flatpak installation command.
flatpak install flathub com.github.nrittsti.NTag
And run NTag Tag Editor via this command.
flatpak run com.github.nrittsti.NTag
