PDF Mix Tool is a free and open source PDF editor for Linux. Using this simple easy to use tool you can merge, split and rotate your pdf files. It is released under the GNU GPLv3 license. You can also do some other works in this tool like delete pages from the pdf file, generating booklets, adding white pages to pdf file and you can extract pages from a PDF file. It is a Qt and qpdf based application.

Install PDF Mix Tool on Ubuntu

You can install PDF Mix Tool via snap and flatpak on Ubuntu. In this tutorial we will see how to install PDF Mix Tool and its usage.

Install PDF Mix Tool via Flatpak:

First you need to install and setup flatpak and flathub on your Ubuntu system. Follow the below link for this. If you already have flatpak on your system, then skip this step.

How to install flatpak on ubuntu

After the installation of flatpak, restart your system. Then in terminal run this PDF Mix Tool installation command. It will install the latest version of PDF Mix Tool in your Ubuntu.

flatpak install flathub eu.scarpetta.PDFMixTool

Then you can start PDF Mix Tool on ubuntu via below flatpak command in terminal.

flatpak run eu.scarpetta.PDFMixTool

Install PDF Mix Tool via snap:

Open your terminal app and run this PDF Mix Tool snap installation command.

sudo snap install pdfmixtool

If needed enter your Ubuntu password.
