Installing Zotero is a straightforward process that can be done via the flatpak package file available on the remote flathub. First you need to install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation.

Open the terminal command-line application (Ctrl+Alt+T) and enter the following command to install the latest version of Zotero via flatpak.

flatpak install flathub org.zotero.Zotero

Once the installation is complete, you can launch Zotero by entering the following command in the terminal.

flatpak run org.zotero.Zotero

If you ever need to uninstall Zotero, simply run the following command.

flatpak run org.zotero.Zotero
