Planner is a free and open source task manager and todo application for Linux. It is a simple and beautiful task manager. Using this app you can add task with due date and it will remind you on that day. You can also organized your as tasks under Project and section. Some other features are Drag and Order support, project progress indicator, reminders notifications, quick Find and dark mode support. It also comes with Todoist Synchronize support. It is released under GNU General Public License v3.0.

Sleek is a free and open source todo manager based on todo.txt for Linux, MacOS and Windows. It is released under open source MIt license. You can create a new todo.txt text file or import todos from the existing todo.txt file. You can mark todo as complete and shown or hidden that todo. Some other features are grouped by priority, sorted by due date, keyboard shortcuts, tabindex, build-in file watcher, hyperlinks and dark theme support.

Purple Task stores your data in your system and you don’t need any internet connection to use this app. You can arrange your tasks in categories. You need to mark each task as completed manually. Task Coach – todo manager

Task Coach is a simple open source todo manager to keep track of personal tasks and todo lists. It is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, BSD, and iPhone and iPod Touch.

Main features:

Creating, editing, and deleting tasks and subtasks.
Tasks have a subject, description, priority, start date, due date, a completion date and an optional reminder.
Tasks can recur on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Tasks can be created by dragging an e-mail message from a mail user agent (Outlook, Thunderbird, Claws Mail, Apple Mail) onto a task viewer.
Attachments can be added to tasks, notes, and categories by dragging and dropping files, e-mail messages, or URL’s onto a task, note or category.
Tracking time spent on tasks.
The Task Coach file format (.tsk) is XML.
Tasks, notes, effort, and categories can be exported to HTML and CSV (Comma separated format).
