Mozilla has announced that B2G will now be known as FireFox Mobile OS and the first FireFox Mobile OS device will launch in Brazil in early 2013 under Telefonica’s local carrier, Vivo.

Mozilla has launched Mozilla Marketplace,an early version of an app store for web-based apps which can be installed on a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer. You will need to install the latest Firefox 16 Nightly build in order to try the Marketplace. There are fewer than 200 apps now.
