Google has announced that it will no longer accept any new sign ups for their free version of Google Apps and the option to switch to this version will no longer be available in 30 days.This will not affect customers who are already using the free version and they can continue to use it for free.
Google+ now has Google+ has 500 million users and more than 135 million (only in stream) people and 235 million (+1’ing apps in Google Play, hanging out in Gmail, connecting with friends in Search…) are active on the service each month.

Google has acquired Virustotal and VirusTotal will continue to operate independently. VirusTotal is a free online service that analyzes files and URLs enabling the identification of viruses, worms, trojans and other kinds of malicious content detected by 42 different antivirus engines and website scanners.

According to a blog post by google employee Saurabh Sharma, Google+ is rolling out vanity (custom) URLs for google+ profiles and pages.A custom URL is a short, easy to remember web address that links directly to your profile or page on Google+.
