Safe Browsing now available to developers

Google Safe Browsing Program Manager Emily Schechter announced that Google’s unwanted software data is now available for other browser makers and developers. Safe Browsing is a Google service that enables applications to check URLs against Google’s constantly updated lists of suspected phishing, malware, and unwanted software pages.

Google is shutting down Google Code.

Google has announced the closing of Google Code project hosting service.

March 12, 2015 – New project creation disabled.
August 24, 2015 – The site goes read-only.
January 25, 2016 – The project hosting service is closed.

You will be able to download a tarball of project source, issues, and wikis. These tarballs will be available throughout the rest of 2016.

Google Translate Adds 10 More Languages

Starting today, google adds new ten languages to Google Translate:  Chichewa, Malagasy, Sesotho, Malayalam, Myanmar, Sinhala, Sundanese,Kazakh, Tajik, and Uzbek. Current number of languages supported by Google Translate is 90. These languages are available now on
translate.google.com and will roll out soon to our mobile apps and to the built-in translation functionality in Chrome.

Google+ rolled out its secound major redesign on wednesday.And According to Google, Google+ has now 190 million active Google+ stream users and 390 million active across Google (+1’ing apps in Google Play, making video calls in Gmail, sharing videos from YouTube) users.

A multi-column layout – one, two, or three columns of content depending on your screen size and orientation.
Photos and videos can fill the entire width of the stream.

Google offers 15 GB of free unified storage between Drive, Gmail, and Google+ Photos

Google announced that shared storage capacity across Drive, Google+ and Gmail is now 15GB.
Google also updated the Google Drive storage page with anew pie chart breaking down your own personal storage over each platform. Users can upgrade to 100GB of storage for $4.99 per month and 200GB of storage for $9.99 per month.
