She was the first person honored with two Nobel Prizes—in physics and chemistry. She was the first female professor at the University of Paris. She was the first woman to be entombed on her own merits (in 1995) in the Paris Pantheon

The search giant Google is celebrating the 100th birthday of mary blair with an google doodle on its homepage. Mary Blair (October 21, 1911 – July 26, 1978), born Mary Robinson in McAlester, Oklahoma was an American artist who was prominent in producing art and animation for The Walt Disney Company, drawing concept art for such films as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Song of the South and Cinderella.

The search giant Google is celebrating the 90th birthday of Art Clokey with an interactive google doodle on its homepage. The “L” invite the user to click on the other balls and each ball is a different character that animates when clicked on.
Arthur “Art” Clokey (October 12, 1921 – January 8, 2010) was a pioneer in the popularization of stop motion clay animation, beginning in 1955 with a film experiment called Gumbasia.

Anant Pai (September 1929 – 24 February 2011) was an Indian educationalist and creator of Indian comics, in particular the Amar Chitra Katha series.He also known as Uncle pai.Amar Chitra Katha, sells about three million comic books a year, in English and more than 20 Indian languages, and has sold about 100 million copies since it inception in 1967 by Anant Pai.

Today Google celebrates 118th birthday of Albert Szent-Gyorgyi with a pair of oranges and some fruits on it’s home page. Albert von Szent-Gyorgyi de Nagyrápolt (September 16, 1893 – October 22, 1986) was a Hungarian physiologist who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1937. He is credited with discovering vitamin C and the components and reactions of the citric acid cycle.

Google celebrates 65th birthday of Freddie Mercury with a 1.38 minute long annimated Google Doodle on it’s home page. Freddie Mercury (5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991) was a British musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. He died of bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS, only one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease.
