CoreChess is a free and open source chess game for Linux and Windows. It comes with three chess engines Universal Chess Interface, Chess Engine Communication Protocol and Chessmaster. It also supports Polyglot (BIN), Arena opening book (ABK) and Chessmaster (OBK) opening book formats. It comes with dark and light themes and option to set the chessboard color themes, pieces, font, language and player name. It is released under GNU General Public License v3.0.

Sandbox is a free and open source sand simulator game for Linux. It is written in Rust and released under GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. You can start the game by simply clicking and draging the mouse to place particles. It comes with Sand, Water, Acid, Iridium, Replicator, Plant, Cryotheum, Unstable, Electricity, Life, Fire, Mirror, Glitch and Delete tool. You can switch the tool by simply pressing the first letter of the tool. example for Plant just press P and start clicking the mouse. You can also increase the decrease brush size by + and – keys.
