Spelunky is a free roguelike classic platformer game for Linux, Windows and MacOS. It is cave exploration and treasure hunting game. In this game you need to collect as much treasure from the cave as possible and you can use your wits, your reflexes, and other survival item to survive from monsters and traps. Install Spelunky on Ubuntu
Spelunky Classic is available from the snapcraft as a snap package and maintained by the Snapcrafters community. You can easily install it via your terminal command line application. Open the terminal (ctrl+alt+t) and run Spelunky snap package installation command. If needed enter your Ubuntu user password.
sudo snap install spelunky
After the game installation, run this command to start it.
spelunky
