Relaxator Soothing Sounds App

Relaxator is a free and open source relaxing sound app for Linux. It is written in Vala and released under GNU General Public License v3.0. Currently it comes with 9 pre-installed sounds of nature, sea, rain, sky, fire, cat, factory, stream and train. Just click it and it will play the soothing relaxation sound in the background. You can select multiple sounds in a same time. It is a simple app without any configuration and still in early stage.

Install Relaxator on Ubuntu Linux

Relaxator is now available as a flatpak package file. You need to install the flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation.

How to install Flatpak and Flathub

Now open the terminal command-line app using the ctrl+alt+t keys and run below Relaxator flatpak installation command.

flatpak install flathub com.github.alexkdeveloper.relaxator

After the installation open Relaxator app using

flatpak run com.github.alexkdeveloper.relaxator

And uninstall it using

sudo flatpak uninstall com.github.alexkdeveloper.relaxator
