How to Install PikaTorrent on Ubuntu
PikaTorrent is available as a portable Linux package and from flathub as a flatpak package file. Download the PikaTorrent for Linux zip file from the above download link and save it on your Downloads folder. Right click on the downloaded file ( for me its pikatorrent-linux-x64-0.5.3.zip) and select Extract/Extract Now. Now open the extracted PikaTorrent folder and right click on the pikatorrent program file and select Run.
That’s all. It will open PikaTorrent on your system.
Install PikaTorrent via Flatpak:
First install flatpak and flathub on your system, if you don’t have them using below two commands.
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
And restart your system after that installation. Now in the terminal app run below PikaTorrent flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub com.pikatorrent.PikaTorrent
And you can open it using below command.
flatpak run com.pikatorrent.PikaTorrent
