Operating System Market share June 2013

This month Microsoft’s Windows and Apple’s iOS is still in top seat. Not much change in this month. But in the mobile space google’s Android is gaining new users rapidly. Just now Net Application released its market share data. First we will see the Desktop and the mobile.

Desktop Operating System Market Share:

According to Net Applications, in june 2013 the total market share of microsoft windows is 91.51%. It is still on top position. Apple’s Mac OS is 7.20% and Linux gains little high with 1.28%.

Notepad++ 6.4 released

Notepad++ 6.4 is now available for download.
Notepad++ is a free source code editor and Notepad replacement that supports several languages.

What’s new in this version?

Add Function List Panel (customizable, support C++ and Javascript for the moment).
Display the error/result in the new added statusbar of Find/Replace dialog instead in popup dialogs.
Add delimiter select by ctrl+Double click feature.
Add set begin position feature for selection.
Fix fold all command bug (which folds partially).
Fix opening the same file twice due to its different path (for example symbol link).
Fix deleting macro from macro menu crash issue.
Fix the bug of Window position not saved/restored properly.
Fix small window size problem due to closing Notepad++ in icon state (reduced in the taskbar) on the last session.

Microsoft released the latest version of its developer tool Visual Studio . Visual Studio 2013 is now available for download and testing. What’s new in this version?

Its comes with more than 5000 new APIs for its users.
New power management feature to easily manage it.
developer now test their application in the newly added cloud-based load testing feature.
display of information such as unit test failures and recent changes directly within the code editor.
This is the first visual studio version to bring build in Git support  to its users.
Included the preview version of .NET 4.5.1.

Antoni Gaudi’s 161st birthday google doodle

Google is celebrating Antoni Gaudi’s 161st birthday with a new google doodle on its homepage.

Antoni Gaudí i Cornet (25 June 1852 – 10 June 1926) was a Catalan architect born in Reus, in the Catalonia region of Spain and figurehead of Catalan Modernism. Gaudí’s works reflect his highly individual and distinctive style and are largely concentrated in the Catalan capital of Barcelona, notably his magnum opus, the Sagrada Família.
