Processing is a free and open source software sketchbook for Windows, MacOS and Linux. You can use Processing IDE to develop interactive applications using different programming languages. It currently supports Java, Android, Python, and Javascript. It is released under GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 2.The main goal of this program is to teach non-programmers the fundamentals of computer programming in a visual context. It is best suited for electronic arts, new media art, and visual design students.

Starting from Ubuntu 21.10 Impish Indri you will get the trash can icon on Ubuntu dock panel. Ubuntu moved trash can from Desktop to Dock. If you are not a fan of this move and want to completely remove the trash can from Ubuntu dock, then follow below tips to remove or hide it from dock.

GridPlayer is a free and open source media player for Linux, Windows and MacOS. Using GridPlayer, you can play multiple video files side by side at the same time without any limit. It is based on vlc media player and written in python. It supports almost all video types. You can add videos by simple drag and drop and save the video settings as playlist to save video position, sound volume, loops, aspect ratio, etc. Some other features are easily configurable gird layout and video aspect, playback speed, zoom and set loops.

Create Font from Image Letters with Glyphtracer

Glyphtracer is a free and open source font creator application for Linux, Windows and MacOS. It is written in python and released under GNU General Public License. Using Glyphtracer you can convert images of letters to a font. Actually it recognizes all letters in a image and lets the user tag each letter to a Unicode code point and converts the images to vector and writes them to a FontForge’s data format. Note that it only processes 1 bit images.
