How to Solve Quick Settings Not Opening in Windows 11

The new Quick Settings menu in Windows 11 taskbar contains options like the Volume Mixer, Battery, Internet connections settings. To change these options you don’t need to go to the settings menu and easily change from this new Quick Settings menu.

If you upgrade your computer from windows 10 to windows 11 then may face the Quick Settings Not Opening in Windows 11 problem. To fix this error please follow below steps.

1.Create a New Local User Account

Creating the new user account will solve this problem. To create new user account in windows 11. go to the Settings App in Windows 11 and click the Accounts section from left sidebar. Click on Family & other users and near Other users click on Add account.

Here you need to click on I don’t have this person’s sign-in information and then on Add a user without a Microsoft Account. This will allow you to create a new local windows 11 account. Input the name of the user and click on it and then on Change account type to Administrator from the drop-down and then click on OK.

If this will not solve the your problem then try below all steps one by one.

2. System File Checker (SFC)

Open the command prompt as Administratorin. To open CMD in start menu search box type CMD. Right click on CMD and then click on Run as Administrator and type below command and hit enter.

sfc /scannow

Restart the computer after the completion of System File Checker.

3. DISM Tool

Run CMD as Administrator and type below commands and hit the enter key.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Restart your PC after the completion of above commands.

4. If the above steps won’t work then try to Reset your Windows 11 computer. In windows 11 start menu search Box type reset. then click Reset this PC option. Select Keep my files and then Cloud Download option and click Next. After that restart to reinstall the OS.
