OpenChrom is a free ad open source chromatography, spectrometry and spectroscopy software for Linux, Windows and MacOS. It supports to handle GC/MS, GC/FID, HPLC-UV/VIS, FTIR, PCR and NMR data. It comes with peak detection, integration, identification, quantitation and reporting features. Some other useful features are working in target screening (TS), non-target screening (NTS) mode, process methods and batch processes. It also supports more than 40 data formats.

How to Install OpenChrom on Ubuntu
Download the latest OpenChrom for Linux application in compressed .tar.gz file format and save it on your Downloads folder. Now right click and select Extract.
After the extraction, open the extracted folder and right click on the openchrom program file and select Run to start the OpenChrom software.
Install OpenChrom via Snap:
You can also install OpenChrom via the below snap install command. In the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) run below OpenChrom snap install command.
sudo snap install openchrom
After the installation open it via the Show Apps Ubuntu application menu button.
Install OpenChrom via flatpak:
In the terminal app run below belowOpenChrom flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub com.lablicate.OpenChrom
And start it using below command.
flatpak run com.lablicate.OpenChrom
If you don’t have flatpak then first install and restart your system.
